The 2010 Le Cordon Bleu World Food Media Awards will provide global recognition to the very best in the international food and drink publishing and broadcasting industries.
The foodie equivalent of the movie Oscars, the 2010 Le Cordon Bleu World Food Media Awards acknowledges the work of food and drink professionals, writers, educators, TV presenters and producers. They recognise excellence across a broad range of publishing and broadcasting on food and drink, books, magazines, newspapers, television, internet websites, guide books and photography.
Le Cordon Bleu, one of the world's most prominent organisations dedicated to culinary, hospitality and tourism education, was founded in Paris in 1895. Today, Le Cordon Bleu has a presence in some 20 countries with more than 30 international schools attended by 20,000 students annually. Tasting Australia, the nation's premier food, wine and beer festival is moving. While it is staying in South Australia, it will now be held in Autumn instead of Spring, allowing visiting media, food and drink professionals, and the public at large a chance to experience the best the State has to offer at vintage time.
